Pretty cool

Her voice is pretty beautiful, it's very sweet and she hit all the notes, just like SeeD said. I don't have much to say, Seed said it all. I agree with him, her voice was very lenely without some music in the background.

Also, she needs to stop breathing in front of the mic. It personally didn't bothered me, but there are always people saying "Stop breathing in front of the microphone, it mess with the whole song." For me it doesn't make difference, but aesthetically it sounds strange.

I don't have too much to say. I liked her voice, it's very good, just put a background song, she's too lonely singing without a calm little song in the back... Anyway, keep it up!!

Thank you! Definitely agree on the backing track and we're working out the breathing haha

Nice song

I liked it a lot, the lyrics are very cool, it's awesome for a song written in a Walmart parking lot. :P

I liked the refrain, it's pretty catchy, the instruments are all in perfect harmony, like SeeD said, the synth melody is very cool, it fitted with the drums and the guitar. But the best thing I could think of this song was the vocalist, My GOD, who's the singer?? The voice is awesome!!! It's totally perfect for rock songs, it's like Eddie Vedder's voice, it fits perfectly in the grunge songs.

I liked the guitar too, nice riff in the refrain, is it a power chord?? Correct me if I'm wrong. But it worked in perfect harmony with the voice, "Sex is a state of Miiiiiiiiind (and the guitar, TAAAAAAAMMMMM, TAAAAAAUUUMMMM, TAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUMMMMM)" loved the refrain man, awesome part. :D

Anyway, I liked the song, but there was something missing I think the "When I feel..." part was kinda boring, but it didn't messed w/ the song, every song has a boring part, just like the end of Smells Like Teen Spirit... Keep up the good work guys, you have a great criativity!!

HardcoreClimax responds:

Wow, I'm flattered! This is the vocalist commenting this time. The guitar riff on this one actually was done with a synth patch technically. Though I'm not sure; I came up with that guitar riff ON a guitar. I think it was just because I'm not totally happy with the connection we have for recording electric guitar right now. But yes, they would be power chords.

The "when I feel" part might be tweeked. I might agree that we could do something like drop everything and come back in with a stronger punch. I think it's mainly the little drum still going in the back that makes it kind of pitiful, haha.

Either way, thanks for the vocal compliments! I definitely like this the best. I can't wait to start doing more growling vocals, kind of more like Cobain or something. I'm flattered! We both are! Thanks for the review.

Awesome.

Hey GST!! This song is simply awesome dude, like every song of yours, it has a great beat, it's very animated, I simply loved the synths, loved everything man, the drums are super cool, the piano (was it a piano, or I'm crazy??) was super cool.

I loved this songs feeling, it's a very beautiful song, a great melody, and a perfect execution, you made a great melody, and built a great song, with lots of variations, perfect hamony between the instruments, and the drums were leading the song with a perfect synchrony. It's completely awesome.

Man, I loved this song, you're one of m favs authors, this song proves it. Keep it up with the awesome work, and I wanna listen the full version!! :D

Nice beat!

I liked the song a lot, have a nice beat, a real techno feel, it's a pretty cool song, I loved the synths, I liked also the variation of 'em, you didn't keep the same thing the whooole song, you variated a lot, it's a crucial thing in a song, and the song didn't get repetitive.

There were cool parts, like the part when you cutted the synths, and increased the volume of them slowly, that was one of the coolest parts of the song, it was very animated, and you built it all again with a new beat, what a nice thing!

I just didn't like a part where the synths seemed to be lagging, I tought my internet was slow, the sound was very weird, I don't know if it was proposital, but it didn't seem very cool.

Anyway, I liked the song, pretty cool job, liked the beat, the synths and the drums were cool too, they kept the rhythm of the synths, they made the song's base. Keep it up w/ the goob work man, I expect to listen more great songs from you!!

i9incher responds:

haha thanks for the review man, glad you enjoyed my song. and as for the synths lagging I don't really know but I know the bass drum might sound like that a bit, and to be honest I was afraid this song was going to be to repetitve haha. but like I told everyone else if I go back and re-edit this I will take what you said into consideration. thanks for the review mate.

Nice Song

Was listening it while was fooling around the BBS, and it was pretty nice, the sounds are very cool, it has a Middle- East feel, remembers a lot the desert, and it has a hot feeling. The instruments give a strange and awesome feeling, it seems you're in the desert.

I just think the main istruments were too loud, they kind of hurt the ears, it'd be nice if you could lower the volume of those instruments and increase the volume of the other instruments. It'd be very cool.

Anyway, I'm giving you a 9 because it's not complete yet, but I think it's a pretty creative idea to make a project of songs from every part of the world, can't wait to listen to the final result, it'll be awesome. Keep up the good work dude, I expect to listen more cool songs from you.

Thanks for the great review!

Great to see it gives the good image! I'm having a hard determinating wich instrument is the main, though, since they pretty much all have a theme at one point or another, so I'm guessing it's either the sitar at the intro or the accordeon in the theme. I'll have a look, I believe I remember the sitar distorting at some point, so I'm guessing it's the latter...

Great to see an upcoming fan of my work, go check out the rest if you enjoy what I do!

Thanks again for the great review.

Liked it a LOT!

The song is pretty short, but it has the Latin feeling, it's pretty animated, a lot of sounds, the drums are pretty cool, the piano is super nice, I liked the melody, and the sax (is that a sax??) sound is awesome! The guitar is very nice too, it kept pace with all the other instruments. I think you really catched the real spirit of the salsa!

One of the best parts for me was from 0:32 to 0:41, really liked the way you changed a bit the song, it's not the same thing the WHOOOLE song, the sounds kept changing but all of 'em was in the same melody, it's professional work Steph! :o

Anyway, keep it up ude, your music is awesome and you're always doing even better things! Also, pretty good start!!

Wow, thanks! Glad you enjoyed the instruments I used - by the way, it isn't a sax but I tried to make it sound like one so I guess making you think it's a sax is an achievement, right? ;D.

Haha I'm not so sure about professional, but as long as it sounds good I'm happy lol.

Thanks for the great review!

Well...

I liked the song, the beats, the sound of the drums, but the song is WAYYY TOOO REPETITIVEEEE, it kept repetiting the whole beat the whole song, that wasn't good, you gotta variate in trance songs, I see you used different beats, but the song still kept repetitive, you variated a lot, but there were many other repetitions, the drums were OK, but again, the same beat.

I really liked the end and the beggining, the song ended well, it sounded nice, you did a nice job with the beggining, too, it sounded fast and loud, what is great in a Trance song. Also, that quiet part was nice, too, I liked the way you builded the beat again, it had a great sound, I liked the way the song beat came back to the song, it was awesome.

What can I say? You repeated a lot, but you did a genial work in some parts of the song, keep it up, man, but don't forget to variate a lot in your other songs, oK?? You have a great potential!!

BuggMusic responds:

Thank you very much! Surprisingly enough, it never really occurred to me to variate the drums. I will apply this advice with my next songs!

Nice song, man...

I really liked this song, it has a nice style, it remembered me of some 90's songs, such as Nirvana's ones, it seems to be the riff of one of their songs, but, anyways, it sounds great, man, I loved to listen to this song.

The back beat was very cool, it has a nice melody, and the main beat is awesome, it has a perfect sound, it fitted really well to the rest of the instruments, what gave the song more variations, what is great. I don't liked the way it ended, it sounded a bit strange, 2 different beats changing way too quickly, you sould pause it for 5 second, then it'd look cool, it'd sound misteriously, what is perfect fot this kind of song.

Anyways, I liked the song, I liked the sounds, the beats, but I still think there is something missing, I can't tell you what is, I don't understand a lot of music-making, but I know the complete version will be awesome. Keep it up, man, I liked this song.

Hhhhhmmmm, Awesome.

Oh, man, what can I say 'bout this?? It's simply awesome, the drums sound great, and the instruments have such an epic sound, and with that awesome rock drums in the back, the song gets even better, it's just incredible to listen to this GREAT song...

The best part was from 2:23 to 2:43, it sounded so greatly, that my ears started yelling "YEEEEEAAAAHHHHH! AWWEESOOOMMEEEE!!". (lol, idiot mode *on*)

The song is simply the best I ever listened in NG, you guys made a masterpiece, it is epic, simply epic... I loved it. Keep it up Steph. (Also, sorry about the lenght, it's way too short, but I lost my inspiration to review...)

Well, cool i guess. Tks for liking the song. I can personally say that Steph is brilliant at drums, and the instruments are my job, so i guess we compliment each other, and produce stuff like this.

Nice song!

I liked it, man, it has a very cool jazzy style, I liked the piano melody, it has an animated sound, it sounds great for the listener, since this is a different jazz, it has an original and pure sound, I loved the final result.

Besides those things I listed before, I also liked the sound effects in the middle of the song, I liked the way you variated the melody, it wasn't only the same thing during the whole song.

The drums were great, I loved the 3:00 part, you did a great job with the drums, it did a great variation to the song, also, the drums sounded great together with the piano melody, you really did a GRAT job, man.

I think I didn't listen to a Jazz song for 1 year, and I felt awesome listening to this one, it's different, original, and awesomely well-executed. Congratulations, I wanna listen more of your songs, you have potential.
